Melissa Villa - Garden

The Melissa villas differ from our general offer which consists of individual villas. Melissa are managed and serviced villas, a variant which appeals to those who are looking for the perfect blend of hotel services and the intimacy and independence of self-catering accommodations.

The Melissa complex counts four garden villas and two beach-front villas; all identical in terms of floor-plans, with standardised furniture and equipment. Fully renovated in 2024, they count one sea-facing double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and three bathrooms. They are located on a remote stretch of beach facing a beautifully clear Turquoise lagoon, spared from excessive activity, near the village of Trou-d’Eau-Douce, on the east coast of Mauritius. Occupants of the garden villas have direct access to the beach which is wide enough to accommodate all occupants simultaneously.

Kitchen and other equipment is comprehensive, furniture is comfortable, while volumes are generous; villas being of contemporary style, with an area of 200m² opening onto a small private garden with a perfectly-sheltered individual swimming pool. All is there for relaxing and smooth-running holidays in Mauritius. Service is the strong point, as described below.

The villas are managed by on-site managers who coordinate the service among the 6 villas. The regular in-villa services consist of daily cleaning, washing and ironing as well as full catering and can be extended to baby-sitting, in-house massage and concierge services.

Daily cleaning is performed daily by a team of two, during day working hours and as far as possible, while you are away visiting the island of enjoying the beach. Although half-board / full-board packages can be organised, Melissa offers the advantage not having to commit in advance. À la carte, – 1-day notice – orders are welcome and delivered at the villa (not served) while the villas have a fully-equipped kitchen for those who choose to make the cooking.
