Villa Bahia

Villa Bahia is a luxury villa blending contemporary and island architecture. Flat ceilings and very high pointed shingled roofs combine to result into a modern luminous interior while the house fairly blends with its environment. A wonderfully designed staircase and inner stone wall is the central ornament as it creates some depth of field allowing grandeur and cosiness to coexist.

The main house counts three double bedrooms with sea-view and en-suite bathrooms, while the additional two bedrooms and bathrooms are located in the pool house at the back.

The swimming pool and its kiosk, at the back of the house, well-sheltered from the winds make the perfect place for suntanning and “aperitif” times. In front, a wide veranda opens onto a lawn, a strip of beach and the beautiful lagoon of Trou-d’Eau-Douce, with the Ile-aux-Cerfs as horizon.

Trou-d’Eau-Douce has a very peculiar atmosphere. Still bearing the indolence of the fishing village it has always been, it bustles twice daily, in the morning and late afternoon, when the numerous boats are launched or docked by their crew, while the hawkers gesticulate to attract the numerous tourists getting there to board a shuttle to Ile-aux-Cerfs or boats for a day-cruise. Some typical restaurants and table-d’hotes reinforce its identity.

Prior to check-in, all guests will be asked to authorise a security deposit of EUR 2,000 on their credit card, which may be deducted from the latter within 30 days of departure against any breakages, excessive cleaning or loss to property. Should the value of broken items exceed the security deposit, Muse villas reserves the right to claim any excess to the guest.
