3. Volumes and interior space
To some extent, large living areas, ample bedrooms and roomy bathrooms are directly enjoyable characteristics, especially in villas having large accommodation capacities of ten and above where, at some moments of the day, each guest needs his or her own private space. 4. Outdoor living areas – The Mauritian way of life
Contemporary villas always look great in a catalogue, but do they suit every context? Not always. The art of living in Mauritius is being outside, or rather in between the inside and the outside, in that sacred area called a veranda. Verandas bring the perfect blend of intimacy and shelter with the great feeling of being outdoor. By daytime, they protect from heat and sun, in evenings they warm up the ambiance. Design, yet comfortable furniture sets, great paintings and posters, balanced colour-schemes perfectly-fitted kitchens and bathrooms, hermetic flush-doors and soft-closing drawers are comfort to the senses. (Villa Aura, Villa Moana and Villa Las Brisas).

7. Service
Since daily cleaning and cooking services are a standard for all the holiday villas we propose for rent, the service at luxury villas is not necessarily enhanced. However, their zoning and volumes are better adapted for the hiring of chefs, that bring service to another level, close to hotel-like services, without the fussy protocols and the standardisation.

8. Region and location
All our guests would like the convenience of nearby restaurants and other food outlets. Others attach importance to remoteness, quietness, tranquillity. Being subject to the basic laws of economy, it is merely impossible, on such a small island to have both. One exception is Villa Bahia. Despite being located in busy Grand Baie, it perfectly combines proximity and tranquillity.
