Booking Procedures
We invite you to use our online booking facility for instant information about villas’ rates and availabilities as at the latest updates received by the owners. Our quote request tools are located in the right-hand-side pane of each villa pages. Sending the request will automatically trigger a quotation form for your stay, sent to the email address you entered in the quote-request form.
Would you prefer sending us a general request for no specific villa, or prefer to ask us some questions first, please fill the general enquiry form on our “Contact Us” page. Personalised requests are received with thanks and dealt with pleasure. For proper advice and guidance please supply as much information as possible, the contact form has a short – optional – multiple-choice check-list for this purpose. Allow us a couple of hours to half-a-day to provide you with the most comprehensive information. Time of reply during week-ends may be longer but we do check our emails everyday of the year.
Upon confirmation of interest in writing we will make a provisional booking valid for a maximum of 1 week, in order to allow time for the part or full payment to be received. The temporary booking triggers a confirmation email containing all the necessary information as regards to terms and modes of payments, general and special terms and conditions if any, including the cancellation policy applying to the specific property booked.
Online bookings with payment by credit card
Most of our villas can be booked instantly and automatically using a credit card (Visa & Mastercard) for online payment. This option, if applicable is proposed at the very end of each villa’s booking page.
ALL BOOKINGS BY CREDIT CARD ARE SUBJECT TO A 5 % SURCHARGE AND TO A FULL PAYMENT UPON RESERVATION.
Bookings are considered as firm only when the payments are received in due time as per each individual owner’s payment terms.
No reservation will be considered as final until the total amount due has been received. We reserve the right to cancel a partly paid booking in case full amount is not settled in time and the down payment could be held as cancellation fees.
As a guideline, a 25 % deposit is requested to confirm a reservation but percentages may vary from a villa to another and according to booked dates. The payments schedule is indicated within the automated e-mail you will receive after having sent your booking request.
The following cancellation fees will apply in case of a cancellation by the client:
Minimum cancellation fee : = 10% of total the amount due of the villa rental will be retained.
Cancellation fees can reach up to 100 %, depending on the villa, the period booked and the lead-time between the day the cancellation is received and the formerly agreed arrival date.
You are invited to consult the villa’s description sheet for detailed payment and cancellation policies prior to proceeding with your bookings.
It is understood that Exportal Ltd will not be held responsible for any harm, prejudice, loss or damage caused to the guests namely if such harm, prejudice, loss or damage is caused by misleading information, non-conformity, malfunction of any appliance of equipment at the villa, incidents and accidental injuries caused to the guests while staying / using the villa and its premises.
In this respect, Exportal Ltd recommends that all children staying in our beach villas are adequately supervised, especially when making use of an unfenced or an uncovered swimming pool in the villa.
Exportal Ltd will not be held responsible for loss of client’s personal effects including money during their stay in the beach villa, including cases of burglary.
Exportal Ltd recommends our clients to take all adequate insurance covers.
Jurisdiction
All settlement of disputes will be governed by the laws of The Republic of Mauritius.
