L’Îlot is of those lifetime experiences, to add to one’s bucket list. More than a holiday rental, it is a convivial house, simple in its Creole ambience, refined in its furnishings, luxurious in its equipment.
More than a villa indeed, as it sits on its private islet in the magnificent lagoon converted into a peninsula by a short bridge linking it to the shores of the splendid lagoon of Roches Noires. The islet is like a micro-state; a hosting country where, lulled by the lapping, mesmerised by the glittering sea, the feeling of well-being is instant. The islet has a sweet spot for every season and each hour; westward for the sunset, eastward for the moonrise. So many blissful moments await.
As for the rental, it is managed with meticulousness and follow-up, while as regards to the service, previous guests could only praise the housekeepers for their devotion, efficiency and kindness.
The island villa
service
Daily service includes cleaning, washing, ironing, as well as the preparation of breakfast and another meal (from food supplied by guests). Malini the cook and Latha the housekeeper, work six days a week from 8.45 am to 1.45 pm for Malini, from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm for Latha. On Sundays or public holidays, they alternate so that one of the two is present. If it’s Malini, there will be cooking of one meal and light cleaning, if it’s Latha it would be cleaning and some light preparation of breakfast or equivalent.
The service of a chef who does the grocery shopping and preparing three meals a day is an option. To be organised / booked well in advance.
