Villa Lima is a large 4-bedroom villa rental in all cosiness. The house spreads across its ample garden, into different zones and on two floors, offering the comfort of generous spaces yet with a feeling of conviviality and especially of privacy for all guests.

Fully-renovated in 2015 where, among many other works, the kitchen and bathrooms have been refitted, it gained wider openings onto the sea and cheerful brightness by day. At night, the garden is subtly and cleverly lighted while the inside lighting is always comfortable, intimate and functional, as different combinations are possible to each guest’s liking.

On the site of an ancient lime kiln, remnant of the sugar industry in its early days. Fully-restored, the kiln sets the “character” of the property around it. The villa combines modern geometry and volumes with local character, namely owing to its thatch roof. At the front, the landscaping has been crafted with stairs of dark stones leading to the beach among tall coconut trees.

Villa Lima is serviced from 8.00am to 2.00pm daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Cooking of lunch is included, however the cooking of an additional meal is subject to a surcharge of 5 €/hr plus eventual transportation costs.

Lima's Highlight: Large Garden

Villa Lima is a very beautiful house built around a beautiful old lime kiln. Here are its main advantages: - Very spacious villa with plenty of seating inside and furniture in good condition. - Beautiful view of the lagoon and the ocean. - Close to the beach. - Well-equipped kitchen, including a convenient water dispenser (hot and cold water). - Good quality linens. - Beautiful upstairs bedroom with terrace, large dressing room, and bathroom. - Not very large, but very nice pool with slightly salty water. - Large TV with Canal Plus channels. - Garage for one car. - Sophie and Bernard Cayeux are very friendly. They give valuable tips and are always helpful. - Vilma, the housekeeper, is very kind and cooks excellent local dishes. Negative points include: - Not enough shaded areas for outdoor dining during the day. - Not enough light for outdoor dining in the evening. - The green areas are not particularly well maintained. - If you're not used to it, the sound of the waves crashing against the reef can quickly become deafening. Despite these negative points, Villa Lima offers very good value for money, and we had a great stay from April 7 to 21, 2023.
